Things like, the luck of the Irish, the pot of gold, green beer, Irish parades, fun / laughter, the Irish jig, Irish music /songs and how about this Irish Proverb:
May your troubles be less and your blessings be more, and nothing but happiness come through your door.
My leadership tip this week is to stay focused on your pot of gold.
Regardless of what ‘day’ it is, we have a tendency to get distracted from our goals. It’s easy to do.
Someone asks us to give them a hand with something that doesn’t translate to us achieving our goals but We want to be helpful, a good team player — If you’re doing someone else’s job, who is doing your job?
It seems our goal is unachievable, so we give up – then we convince ourselves it’s okay. It’s not – quitting or giving up should never be an option. If you find yourself in this position call me and we’ll create a fresh plan for success.
We think we’re on track to blowing away our goals so we take our foot off the gas, then Boom! We slip behind and don’t have enough time to catch up.
If you want to get to your pot of gold stay focused.
