The year 2020 has brought us disruption—the kind that leaders couldn’t readily anticipate. We just didn’t see it coming.
This disruption in the form of a pandemic has caused us to adapt and adjust. It has also taken away opportunities, although for some, new opportunities have emerged.
As we approach the New Year, we hope more opportunities will come our way. And we can do our best to anticipate them now!
Leadership Tip
Reflect on the past and plan for the future while enjoying the present.
As you may know, I have been sharing a weekly leadership tip every Thursday for the past ten years. With Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve falling on a Thursday this year, today’s Leadership Tip will be my last for 2020. The next tip comes your way on January 7th.
In the meantime, I will take my own advice and reflect on the past, think about opportunities ahead, and map out the best path for my leadership development business—while enjoying the holidays!
In appreciation of being a loyal follower of these tips, we have prepared an eBook summary of 2020’s Leadership Tips. They’re designed to help you reflect on the past and stimulate your thinking for 2021. You can download your eBook here.
Once you review these tips, please send me your suggestions on how I can add value to your professional development in the new year.
