- Inspiration or Deflation?
- Trust or Distrust?
- Confidence or Doubt?
- Pride or Embarrassment?
- Jubilation or Disappointment?
- Serving or Self-Serving?
- Optimism or Pessimism?
- Collaborative or Combative?
- Excitement or Fear?
- Hope or Concern?
The words, actions and behaviors of leaders should generate positive thoughts and feelings from their followers.
Followers who have positive thoughts and feelings generate positive, results-oriented action.
Followers who have negative thoughts and feelings result in disengagement … and eventually, no followers.
My leadership tip for you this week is to do a self- evaluation on the signals and messages you’re sending, then make any necessary adjustments.
The signals and messages you send as a leader can make a difference in organizational performance and in your career.
