The opening ceremonies are a powerful tradition that capture the interest, and the hearts of have many followers. We are awestruck over the pageantry and creativity of the event. We are amazed with how many athletes participate from countries we’ve never heard of before. We are impressed with the coordination and execution of the event. We are curious about who will light the torch – awesome stuff.
What if the opening ceremonies were boring, unorganized and elements of the tradition changed every time the opening ceremonies were held – not so awesome.
