The importance of family could not be more on display this month than at the 2016 Olympic Games.
We see American cyclist Kristin Armstrong of USA celebrate her gold medal with her young son.
We see parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, among others travel to the Games to support their Olympic family member.
We see teams and teammates play-like and act-like a close knit family.
We see all of them celebrating successes and providing support for those who fell short of achieving their dream.
It’s a beautiful thing.
2016 Olympic Games Leadership Lesson #6: Never underestimate the power of family. Create a family-like atmosphere in your organization while maintaining a reasonable work-life balance and you will be golden.
