With all of the competition in the 2016 Olympic games and everyone trying to get an edge over their competition, there is bound to be a few examples of questionable sportsmanship.
There were words exchanged between Russian swimmer Yulia Efimova and Lilly King, swimmer from the USA.
After their judo match an Egyptian athlete refused to shake hands with an Israeli competitor.
An American Boxing coach was livid about the scoring of a boxing match from two Russian judges.
A French pole vault competitor was upset about how the Brazilian fans booed him and his efforts. Olympic officials agreed that it was uncalled for and better sportsmanship should prevail.
All of these incidents could have been avoided and we’d all be better for it.
