Well believe it or not, today is National Stress Awareness Day.
Apparently we have too much stress in our lives and don’t know it, so the non-profit health education organization, Health Resource Network is here to remind us.
They have been educating people on how to deal with www.roids.co more effectively for over 20 years, so I say we should stop – breathe and listen.
Like many aspects of life that you want to improve, it all starts with awareness.
Most of us probably don’t think about stress very often, but we are likely drowning in it. We’re just too busy to recognize it.
Stress can raise blood pressure, increase the risk of heart attack and stroke, increase vulnerability to anxiety and depression, and accelerate the aging process. None of which any of us really want.
My leadership tip for you this week is to elevate your level of stress awareness while learning how to minimize stress in your life.
Although I’m not an expert on this topic, here are some resources to help you tackle this assignment:

I also suggest you find a ‘stress-relief’ themed blog that you’re comfortable with. They generally have great information to keep you happy, healthy and stress-free.
